What is a chair sponsorship?
A chair sponsorship is the opportunity to create a deeper connection with the orchestra by directing your donation to support an individual musician, specific instrument, or position in the orchestra. As a Chair Sponsor, you show your support of the Northwest Indiana Symphony and recognize the efforts of the musicians who provide you with live symphonic music. Do you know a musician or have a favorite instrument? Sponsorship levels begin at just $250.
If you prefer to give at a lower level—$25, $50, or $100—we will be very happy to accept your gift in support of our Symphony education programs. As proud as we are of the exceptional music made by the Northwest Indiana Symphony Orchestra musicians, we are also proud to serve nearly 14,000 children and adults through music education programs every year.
All gifts of $50 or more will be listed in our concert programs.
To participate, contact the Symphony office at (219) 836-0525 or donate online.
Northwest Indiana Symphony Sponsors are precious supporters. Benefits vary based on sponsorship levels, and can include:
- signage at event
- recognition in program book and on website
- recognition in advertising and press releases
- a number of free and discounted tickets to your sponsored event
- category exclusivity

A planned gift to the Northwest Indiana Symphony is the knowledge that you are helping to create a living legeacy that will continue to ensure the Symphony's future.
By remembering the Symphony through wills, trusts, life insurance, IRA’s and other planned giving vehicles, you have the opportunity to leave a definite mark and a legacy of high quality music and education for generations to come. Even people of modest means can make a significant impact through tax-advantaged estate and financial planning.
If you have already included NISO in your estate plans, please let us know. We would appreciate the opportunity to thank you.
If you would like more information about planned giving, please contact (or have your family attorney contact) the Symphony offices at 219-836-0525
